Music has always been the biggest passion in Tiesto's life and he felt the need to share that passion with other people. Between 1985 and 1993 he performed as resident in several clubs in Holland and in these years he developed an important foundation:
Together with his best friend, Arny Bink, he started the record company Black-hole recordings which provides the world with all sorts of quality dance music. On this label he started his mix compilation series 'Magik', which is very successful all over the world.
His remix of Delerium's Silence was the first dancetrack ever played on radio during daytime in North-America and was four weeks in the UK's Top 10.
Tiesto started a new label under Black-Hole recordings called Magik Muzik, which provides only tracks that Tiesto likes himself. The first release came in 2002 with Tiesto 'Flight 643 (Love On's Fire) featuring Suzanne Palmer.
He plays at all the best clubs and parties in the world and he is resident every Tuesday night at Amnesia in Ibiza. When he is touring under www.tiestosolo.com he plays exclusive 6 hours sets. He is one of the few superstar deejays who has the ability to take the crowd on a magikal journey.
