So what's Glitter about?
It's kinda like the Mariah Carey story. In other words, a very talented and sexy girl gets discovered, becomes a huge star but obviously not without some heartbreak en route to the top!
When's it set?
That's the good bit. It's in the '80s so not only are there some fierce tunes - some of them sung by Mariah herself - but some very foxy outfits that look kinda cool in that retro-fashion way!
Tell us about the music!
There's lots of it and it's killer! Especially when Mariah covers great songs from the '80s! But there's some fab original tunes too - listen out for the new single, "Never Too Far" - it's a birrova weepie.
So Glitter gives us behind the scenes of the music biz?
Eat your hearts out Hear'Say. In the movie, you see how some stars are exploited by unscrupulous record biz types, how you get your deal, how you have to work it one million ways to even get a sniff of success, and obviously the pitfalls when your boyfriend can't cope with your overnight success!
Who plays the boyfriend?
Someone who already plays a famous singer's boyfriend: Max Beesley, main man for Melanie B - and he's a bit of a sexpot into the bargain. Which is good.
So is it any good?
If you're interested in the fame game, enjoy seeing Mariah perform and aren't afraid to cry buckets at the end you'll be hooked.
