Anjunabeats, one of the world's coolest trance labels, releases the first in a new compilation series 'Anjunabeats Worldwide'. The first chapter is brought to you courtesy of trance heroes Super 8 & DJ Tab, and Mark Pledger.

In the case of Anjunabeats, now in its sixth year, the dance label has grown to become one of the UK’s leading independents, and stands tall as an influential force in global music culture. Founded by Brit dance stars, Above & Beyond, the label’s forward-thinking attitude has continually manifested itself in release after release of superlative dance music, establishing Anjunabeats as a byword for quality for the worlds biggest DJs and music fans alike.
‘Anjunabeats Worldwide’ is a 2 x cd mixed by two of the underground trance scene’s hottest emerging talents, acclaimed duo, Super8 & DJ Tab, and Mark Pledger - three rising stars who are setting the benchmark for the future of progressive music. The album contains tracks and remixes from Above & Beyond, Andy Moor, Daniel Kandi, Mike Koglin, David West, Mike Shiver, Sonic Vibe, and many more.

Super8 & Tab are the antidote to anyone who says the scene has gone stale. Combining dark and driving progressive/electro elements with more traditional melodic influences, they’ve created a unique sound that has had the DJ A-list clamouring for their music. The pair’s ‘Helsinki Scorchin’ is arguably the biggest instrumental trancer of the year so far and has featured on 15 compilations, including the latest from Tiesto, Above & Beyond and Armin Van Buuren.
Mark Pledger, one half of acclaimed production duo Smith & Pledger, is described by Armin as “among the best producers around and an excellent DJ” – just one of the many plaudits he’s received in the last year. Mark’s current productions ‘White’ and ‘Ultraviolet’ have picked up multiple Radio 1 plays and earned support from the likes of Paul Van Dyk and Ferry Corsten.
Anjunabeats Worldwide is more than a mix album; demand for the music and label ethos has resulted in the launch this month of a weekly XM Satellite Radio show. In addition, the label is taking the show on the road with a global DJ tour, which began last month (October 2006). Spearheaded by Super8 & Tab and Mark Pledger, the tour will be ably supported by other Anjuna artists including David West and Stephen J. Kroos. The parties will feature special Anjunabeats décor and lighting, as well as stunning club visuals from the team behind the much-talked about images on Carl Cox’s latest World Tour.
The compilation is already out in the UK and will come out in November 2006, in the rest of the world.
