With debut single ‘Come On Come Out’ set for release on April 7th A Fine Frenzy are sure to be one of the key sounds of 2008. Early influences from Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald coupled with Beth Orton style piano driven arrangements shape her atmospheric, alluring and melodic sound.
The band are already off to a flying start in the US with debut album ‘One Cell In The Sea’ reaching number 3 on Billboards Top Heatseeker Chart this summer.
A Fine Frenzy otherwise known as 22 year-old Seattle born singer-songwriter Alison Sudol. An anglophile at heart Alison Sudol grew up listening to staples of British music Radiohead and The Smiths, influencing A Fine Frenzy’s distinctive sound.
