According to a statement by MC, she is going to produce original material for ringtones in order to do what she would normally not do on her albums.
"I had a lot of fun with this project, the singer said in a statement. It was a great creative outlet because musically I could do things here that I would never think to do for one of my albums. This was a great idea by Pepsi, and I'm happy to be a part of it."

Ludacris Slams Oprah Ludacris has lashed out at Oprah Winfrey, after he was initially refused to appear on her prime time talk show, and then publicly lectured when he was finally allowed on the show. Ludacris was stunned when Winfrey criticised his use of words like bitches and hoes in his music, when he was appearing on the show to promote his movie, Crash, and discuss racial discrimination.
She edited out a lot of my comments while keeping her own in. Of course, its her show, but we were doing a show on racial discrimination and she gave me a hard time as a rapper when I came on there as an actor, said Luda, real name Chris Bridges. Initially, I wasnt even invited on the show I dont see why [comedians] Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle, who I am huge fans of, its OK for them to go on Oprah. They speak the same language as I do, but they do it through comedy, so I guess thats acceptable to her [Oprah].
Dame Finally Speaks Out On Rift With Jay-Z!!! For the first time, Damon Dash has spoken out about his rocky relationship with former friend and business partner Jay-Z. In the upcoming issue of King Magazine, Dame speaks on his old friend...Many know how their relationship disintegrated over the past few years but Dame always maintained that the two were still "cool"... until now.
"My best friend did some sh*t to me that I never thought in a million years he would do," Dame said in King. "It was straight war in there. Either you on Jay's side or Dame's side. The perception is that Def Jam bought Roc-A-Fella. Jay's the president of Def Jam. I'm Bin Laden. You could either be with Bin Laden or be with [Jay-Z]. You know what I'm saying?"
Dash also stated Def Jam treated him like an enemy and had a picture of him with a note stating to not let him into the office. But in the end, Dash still can't deny the successful run he, Biggs and Jay had.
J-Lo Sued By Writer over Stolen TV Idea Jennifer Lopez is being sued by a writer who claims the singer and a US television network stole his idea for a series. Jack Bunick's lawsuit alleges that South Beach, which was executive-produced by Lopez, borrowed from a copyrighted script he wrote in late 1999. It was for a pilot episode of a show that would have been called South Beach Miami, he claimed in the federal court filing in Manhattan. South Beach started on the network UPN in January, but has since been cancelled.
Bunick said his script was about two young men from Brooklyn who travel to the Miami destination, where one soon gets involved with the club and modelling scenes. A recurring theme was said to be that the main character is "in many ways out of his element in South Beach". Bunick's suit claims his agent spoke to a UPN executive and sent a copy of his script to her in February 2000, but that he was never contacted by the network.

However, she is expected to get back to music in the coming months, with Sean Garrett, who is working on the new material, reporting that Beyonce is putting in 12-hour days on the LP.
Garrett told MTV that "the songs are sick", before claiming: "She's in a place I've never seen her in before. She's very vibrant, very happy, and her mindset is incredible. She's in a zone."
